Sorbet is a tax bookkeeping tool designed for Canadian freelancers. It helps you track expenses, categorize deductions, and estimate your tax obligations. Sorbet uses AI to extract transaction data from uploaded receipts and documents.
Sorbet is a bookkeeping tool, not an accounting firm or tax advisor. The tax estimates, deduction calculations, and categorizations provided by Sorbet are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional tax or financial advice. You should consult a qualified accountant or tax professional before making tax filing decisions. We are not responsible for errors in tax calculations or AI-generated categorizations.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data.
You agree to use Sorbet only for its intended purpose of tracking business expenses and tax deductions. You may not use the Service to upload illegal content, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
You retain ownership of all data you upload or enter into Sorbet. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
Transaction data extracted by our AI may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated categorizations and amounts before relying on them for tax purposes. The review and approval workflow in Sorbet exists specifically for this reason.
